All pictures are drawn by hand from original photographs, if, however, no picture can be sourced for a team an unknown team will be used in its place with colours (…& ‘taches…) changed accordingly…If we can’t find a player picture, we’ll substitute them for a person with the same surname from as close to the area in which they operated - If, as in the case of many of the very earliest Footballers, we can only find photos of said gentlemen as very old men, we simply eliminate a wrinkle here & there while placing a little more hair upon their hallowed heads…
